ACE: Architecture, City and Environment is located in Q1 of SJR (2021)

The journal, edited by the CPSV, in 2020 was ranked in Q2 of the "Architecture" and "Urban Studies" areas of the JCI WoS and in the recent 2021 ranking of the Scimago Journal & Country Rank (SJR) it has been placed in number 27 of 148 architecture journals, being the first published in Spain.

All of its analytics values have gone up; highlighting the external citations per document that have gone from 0.318 to 0.396, as well as its SJR factor that has risen from 0.240 (in 2020) to 0.389 (in 2021), placing it in Q1 of the "Architecture" area and rising from Q3 to Q2 in the area of "Geography, Planning and Development." In addition, it has remained in Q2 in the “Urban Studies” area, although it has risen in the general position, to number 80 out of 230 journals.

HAS BEEN REACTIVATED the next International Conference Virtual City and Territory, XIV CTV (https://www.utadeo.edu.co/es/congreso-internacional-ciudad-y-territorio-virtual-ctv-2020), to be held in 2022, in Bogotá and Cartagena de Indies, Colombia.

For this reason, in October and November 2021 a virtual preparatory event for the face-to-face congress will be held, through four colloquiums with experts that collect some of the topics that will be developed in the thematic tables of the XIV CTV:

We invite students, researchers, academics, and professionals, from the public and private sector to participate, by sending POSTERS on the topics discussed. The posters may contain a preview of the papers that will be sent to the face-to-face congress.

Participation with POSTERS in the discussions does not imply the payment of any fee. The accepted posters will be presented during the discussion sessions and the most prominent ones will have the opportunity to make an oral presentation of them.

ACE Call for Papers "Health, Architecture, City and Environment during and after the COVID-19 pandemic"

ACE; Architecture, City and Environment Journal, is no stranger to the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and recognizes that it has had the most far-reaching impact on the daily life of the planet after the Second Great War. That is why we want to serve as a platform to debate the short and medium-term challenges of the current health situation and that is why, from the June issue, it inaugurates the special section “Health, Architecture, City and Environment during and after the COVID-19 pandemic”.

Without pretending to be exhaustive, we expect contributions from different disciplines and theoretical and applied approaches in the field of housing, multi-family collective spaces, as well as commercial, hotel, health, tertiary, educational, sports, productive, and logistical spaces; in public spaces, transportation, mobility, recreation, residential changes, commerce and local healthcare services; urban parks, recreational spaces, the natural environment, rural populations, peri-urban environments, and its re-naturalization. We hope for works supported by a solid theoretical and empirical base, including too well-motivated, disciplinary, and transversal reflections, especially if it allows us to enforce emerging lines of research. The articles will be submitted to an external evaluation by blind-peers review, as is usual in ACE.
