We present the design and manufacture of an Intervention Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (I-AUV) aimed at providing an accessible platform for teaching and research in underwater robotics. The system prioritizes affordability and usability through inspiration from the successful GIRONA500 AUV design. The proposed platform integrates essential functionalities, including perception, navigation, and intervention, underpinned by the COLA2 control architecture implemented in ROS 2.Downloads
