Resumen

The most strategic part of a triathlon is the cycle-run transition. According to the references found in the bibliography it is important to remark that authors have used non-specific tests, because physiological (lactate and heart rate) and velocity variables have shown considerable differences between the values obtained from laboratory-based studies and those from real competition. However, there is a need to perform these kind of studies in competition, when the triathletes are highly motivated and the effort is maximum [1]
