Commune 7 from Barrancabermeja: a participative proposal of territorial organization in neighborhoods of informal origin

Commune 7 from Barrancabermeja, is constructing for more than 10 years, a participative proposal of territorial organization with regional perspectives that allow decreasing problems of inequality of spaces, social segregation and violence that not only affects this commune but also the city. In this general framework of analysis, this article aims (within the framework of qualification of the social reality) to observe a communitarian process that has took up again the tools of urban planning of the law 388, 1997. In order to construct collective actions of civil resistance against illegal armed groups, and at the same time, the processes of effective participation of its inhabitants that go in advance when making decisions that concerns to its own socio- territorial development.Downloads
