FORMAÇÃO DO PASSIVO INDUSTRIAL NO SOLO DE SÃO PAULO [FORMATION OF INDUSTRIAL LIABILITIES IN THE SOIL OF SÃO PAULO]

Resumen

Este artigo objetiva verificar a relação entre a ocupação industrial na cidade de São Paulo e a localização das áreas contaminadas no território. Assim, procura-se compreender a distribuição atual das áreas contaminadas no meio urbano. Levanta-se a hipótese de que o padrão de ocupação do solo industrial em São Paulo foi uma reprodução do modelo europeu dos séculos XVIII e XIX, porém sem a devida atualização e adaptação local. Questiona-se como essa ocupação industrial aconteceu na cidade, e como veio interferir na concentração de áreas contaminadas ainda hoje presentes e registrados nos cadastros da Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to verify the link between the industrial occupation occurred in the city of São Paulo and the location of its contaminated sites. Thus, it seeks to understand the current distribution of contaminated areas in the urban area. The hypothesis is that the pattern of industrial occupation in São Paulo was a reproduction of the European model from the 18th and 19th centuries, but without due updating and local adaptation. The matter is how the industrial occupation occurred in the city, and how it interfered in the way of contaminated areas located, and still present as it is registered in the records of the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo.
