Still living at home or having your own house: residential emancipation in Spain, 1976-2007

The objective of this study is the analysis of the formation of households among young people in Spain today and the evolution of this phenomenon over recent years. In order to carry out this analysis, data from the Encuesta de Población Activa (EPA) are used, through the probability of young people no longer living in the parental home within the space of one year. This is combined with a methodology which constructs a fictitious cohort that registers the proportions found within a given year.Downloads
