Urban development planning.Abstract
Urban development planning has already acquired full maturity and normality in Spain, for professional planners and other professionals within the public administration, as much as for the citizens at large and other professionals involved in the development process.
Within this process of normality and continuity in the planning of the built environment, proposals have been formulated to unify working procedures, to establish documentation type indexes and, above all, to unify the units of measure that value the very quantitative parameters of urban development. This article seeks to make a contribution in the line of normalization and continuous improvement of these processes, by means of the formulation of a proposal of simplified alphanumerical codification in the documents of urban development planning, developed and examined through a case study.
