Residential moves are mainly done at a short distance, and most of them take place inside the limits of the same city. This intra-urban mobility is slightly studied due to the lack of registration of those movements which do not cross municipal boundaries. This article's main goal is the analysis of the residential internal mobility within the limits of Barcelona, with especial attention in that of their foreign residents. In the last years international immigration has been a very prominent phenomenon, with a high impact for the city and all their demographic phenomena. Results show an increasing foreigners' share in this type of movements, with a high migratory intensity and with a clear territorial impact, as there are neighbourhoods that expel foreign population and others that attract them. This last characteristic is having a significant impact on foreign population urban redistribution, as well as on their concentration and segregation territorial patterns.Downloads
