Abstract

The paper is the latest in a series of four articles of the different stages of development and application of the Evalúamet model. The sub-models included in the platform Evalúaimpact are described, and the results of its calibration. Also is present the results of the aplication of the Evalúamet model to the metropolitan region of Barcelona, considering two relevant projects (Orbital B-40, and 22 @). The calibrated models shown good adjustment, and a clear conceptual consistency with the phenomena that shape. The first application of Evalúamet model is conditioned by a significant amount of modeling assumptions, in shaping the baseline scenario of evolution of the RMB. Despite the above, the results prove relatively valid, with particular results that are being reviewed. The evaluation process of the projects shows consistent values, and also singular values, which are now reviewed. However, the evaluation showed flexibility, delivering a systemic dimension of the effects produced by the projects. Finally, the research group believe that this is the first step to improve the system, which meets all the objectives originally proposed, and which provides the basis to evaluate indirect effects in specific territories in terms of the inefficiencies that occur, and the equitable distribution of this social, energy, and environmental externalities.
