Abstract

Write, speak, discuss or argue about Roberto Segre, the person or his work is not an easy but an important task to understand the construction of thought about Latin American material culture. In this conceptual manner he synthesized such a complex phenomenon when referring to architecture and cities, a colorful and multicultural continent, with distinction and a particular identity. However, his broad culture and capability that bordered on erudition drew him into art and social problems of the continent.
