Abstract

The advent of cognitive and creative dimension in economic activity means a rethinking and a reassessment of the spatial logic of economics and urban geography in the modern world. The proliferation of economic and urban agendas geared towards the production of new spaces for the global creative economy brings new Urbanism, projecting creativity as a strategic base in an era of economic and urban regeneration in an international level. Methodologically draws on desk research as a strategy for the analysis and reflection on the development of phenomenology. The main purpose is to achieve results on the study case of the software industry in the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara in its process of searching for an ad hoc model of development, as well as its contextual and temporal relevance as a creative industry.
