Abstract

In recent decades, we are seeing a major transformation of the coordinates of theory and criticism of architecture. Between the sixties and eighties of last century took place the golden period of theory and criticism of contemporary architecture and urban planning which was the foundation of the criticism of the modern movement. After hatching of the first great generation of contemporary criticism, today one can speak of “post-criticism”. This paper analyzes the characteristics and reasons for this transformation, attempting to establish a reliable mapping in this confusing and fragmented world.
