RESUMO

O cenário cultural e político no final do século XX afirma a atuação dos coletivos nas cidades. São grupos multidisciplinares, horizontais, autônomos, cujas ações criativas ocupam o espaço urbano. Em Portugal, a atuação desses coletivos é tardia, em torno de 2013, e imbrica-se com a própria história do pais, impondo espeficidades, cuja discussão é objetivo do artigo. Parte-se da hipótese que tais coletivos, por imposições pragmáticas e subordinação institucional, se afastam do fazer artístico sem, contudo, perder uma dimensão “polis-tica”. Questiona-se, contudo: qual elasticidade e limites desta interface? Recorrendo à pesquisa bibiográfica, documental e de campo, é analisado o coletivo Rés-do-Chão, um dosmais atuantes em Lisboa, de cuja praxispode-se depreender lições e exemplificar, sem generalizar, especificidades dos coletivos lusitanos. Entre a ressignificação de práticas e ampliação do campo de atuação profissional, são sinalizadas possíveis barreiras e a contínua transformação do que venha ser os próprios coletivos.

ABSTRACT

The cultural and political scenario at the end of the 20th century affirms the performance of collectives in cities. They are multidisciplinary, horizontal, autonomous groups, whose creative actions occupy the urban space. In Portugal, the performance of these collectives is late, around 2013, and intertwines with the country's own history, imposing specificities, whose discussion is the objective of the article. It is assumed that such collectives, due to pragmatic impositions and institutional subordination, move away from artistic practice without, however, losing a “political” dimension. However, the question is: what elasticity and limits of this interface? Using the bibliographic, documentary and field research, the Rés-do-Chão collective is analyzed, one of the most active in Lisbon, whose praxis can be learned from and exemplified, without generalizing, specificities of Portuguese collectives. Between the reframing of practices and the expansion of the field of professional activity, possible barriers and the continuous transformation of what may be collectives are signaled.
