A TRAJETÓRIA DO URBANISMO COM PERSPECTIVA DE GÊNERO Uma análise da produção acadêmica entre 2009 e 2019 [The path of urbanism with a gender perspective An analysis of an academic production between 2009 and 2019]

Resumen

Apesar do crescimento recente, das discussões sobre gênero e/ou feminismo, em diversas áreas do conhecimento, no Brasil, a temática ainda encontra resistências. Acredita-se na relevância da visibilidade do debate no ambiente acadêmico, por tratar-se de um espaço de expansão e legitimação do conhecimento. Visando compreender a amplitude no campo do urbanismo, este artigo lida com a hipótese que os estudos urbanos sobre as mulheres aumentaram no Brasil, na última década. Utilizou-se uma metodologia bibliográfica, aliada a uma abordagem quantitativa de levantamento de dados, visando verificar a hipótese, tal como apontar a representatividade desse campo temático diante da totalidade de pesquisas de pós-graduação em urbanismo, de universidades públicas da região sudeste, nos últimos dez anos. Os resultados demonstraram uma baixa representatividade das pesquisas relacionadas ao universo feminino, o que impossibilita apontar uma tendência de crescimento ou diminuição do debate, não sendo possível, portanto, validar a hipótese.

ABSTRACT

Despite the recent growth, discussions about gender and/or feminism, in several areas of knowledge, in Brazil, the theme is still resisting. It is believed in the relevance of the visibility of the debate in the academic environment, since it is a space of expansion and legitimization of knowledge. In order to understand the breadth in the field of urbanism, the hypothesis is that urban studies about women have increased in Brazil in the last decade. Using a bibliographic methodology, with a quantitative approach of data collection, verifying the hypothesis, pointing out the representativeness of this subject before the totality of postgraduate research in urbanism, from public universities from the southeast region in the last ten years. The results demonstrated a low representativeness of the researches related to the female universe, making it impossible to indicate a tendency of variation, impossible to validate the hypothesis.
