Abstract

The current context of climatic crisis requires modification of planning policies oriented to decide wether an area should be protected from urban development regarding its capacity to provide us with ecosystemic services. In this sense, it is of paramount importance to be able to evaluate not only those services, but also the interactions between them. The aim of the present investigation is to define a clear and replicable methos to analyse the said interactions, obtaining a map with those data, using as an example the case of the Community of Madrid. To achieve this, Graph Theory was applied as the preferred methos to obtain the best combination of services for a given ecosystem. Not only a more detailed evaluation was achieved, but also a relation of the best services to be combined, proving as a possible list of allowed uses in the area coming directly from the Graph Theory Analysis.
