Abstract

The text explores how the official plans of the City of Mexico, 1891 and 1900 reflect the positivist and hygienist of the city and its meaning in the political context of the time. How the plan reflects the changes in the territory and to be shown with the mapping? And what is the world view of those who raised the need to transform Mexico City in order to achieve the ideal of modernity?
