Abstract

This article analyses the urban form of three industrial cities emerged between (1885-1921), Mexico lived with industrialization his maximum modernization at the hands of American and European capitalists. These examples highlight the large territorial, urban and architectural projects that emerged from the policy regime of President Porfirio Díaz to found and populate cities in the North, justifying the economic growth, the structure of the territory and the defence of national sovereignty at the border.
