A representação identitária do patrimônio territorial de Linhares / Espírito Santo - Brasil

Abstract

The identity representation as a means of identification, interpretation and management of heritage resources is addressed in this article in one of his early roles , knowledge of the place , and it is particularized approach of the territorial heritage of the municipality of Linhares / ES , in order to recognize strong heritage elements enough to constitute identity representation of social collectivities referred to them , and draw test of identity representation of the territory for future elaboration atlas preservation of the territorial heritage of Linhares , using graphical interfaces of Geographic Information Systems ( GIS , in English ) . This study integrates research of Masters in concluding phase titled: Methodology of identity representation of the territory: water as an element of identity in Linhares / ES, developed with the hypothesis that an effective preservation of the territorial heritage presupposes identify and map existing heritage.
