Construcción de indicadores de calidad ambiental en la Región Metropolitana de Cochabamba: propuesta conceptual y metodológica

Abstract

To contribute to the scientific and technical bases the metropolisation process in the central valley of Cochabamba, 30 analyzed indicators were proposed, verified and prioritized by the array of hierarchies that considered the following criteria: direct access to the information, level of detail of the information, the reliability of the source, the viability of the monitoring and the necessary technical resources for monitoring. The five indicators with the highest score in regard to the environmental organization are: geotechnical conditions and geomorphological, landscape Milestones, surface of urban invasion on agricultural area, density of plant species and plant Surface characterized. With regards to the organization the three metabolic indicators with the higher scores were: the number of homes with access to electricity, number of homes with access to potable water and sewerage services and number of households with access to gas. The other 22 indicators considered obtained a minimum value on the rating.
