Abstract

Our society is disintegrating, mainly due to secularization, atomization and liberalization, as well as the difficulty to set individual identity, in what has influenced the breakup of the city, with the abandonment of public space, the loss of centrality and spaces to interact. Collective memory, main nutrient of identity, needs spatial frameworks to be generated, which we consider are the spaces of expression, relationship spaces both public and private, where links that foster social cohesion, neighborhoods mean and therefore work, arise. Hence we are interested to know what the main expression spaces of a neighborhood are and how it contributes to relationships. Since, in order to "make city", we need to put them at the base of urbanism and certainty of urban regeneration.
