Análise das tranformações urbanas através de desenhos: o caso da Praça da Graça - PI

Abstract

This article talks about urban morphology study through construction drawings presented as if the study about the urban morphological changes occurring in the area bounded by the Praça da Graça, Piauí State, city of Parnaiba, Brazil, during the period of the military dictatorship in the country. Has as the object of study space delimited by the Praça de Nossa Senhora das Graças or Praça da Graça, their equipment and urban setting during the period of its formation, it has established itself as a place of memory in society, identification symbol of a society whose path should be preserved as historical and cultural heritage.
