They have similarities landscape and functional by their skylines and by present tourist and second home accommodations. Seeking understand the two cities comparatively, we analyzed their relations with the territory and the environment, following the urban evolution of each one, relating them to the social-economic processes, cultural and institutional aspects that led and guided their development. In a morphological approach, the urban tissue was analyzed, especially the first fringes along the coast, compared to some visible aspects of the urban fabric that are related to the ambience and quality of life in these settlements.
