Abstract

In this paper we present the result of the implementation of a methodology, which was used to collect field information related to the conditions of non-motorized mobility of the city of Zipaquirá. We used urban block as work scale: 83 polygons and 347 edges within the urban center. Based on the theoretical framework, which relies on authors and referents, a territorial diagnostic was generated. We analyzed the field results and the city planning instruments that currently has the city. This allowed to show conceptual gaps present in such documents. Finally, we present some conclusions and recommendations that contribute to the reflection on the mobility conditions about intermediate cities in Colombia.
