The interest of postmodern societies for cultural heritage issues in general and architecture in particular has recently increased. As a result, the real estate appraisers are increasingly faced in their work with buildings that have historical and artistic qualities. However, the vast majority of professionals in this sector lack the necessary skills to address these surveys with sufficient scientific rigor. Because we deal with specific plot of real estate valuation, the unique characteristics of this type of buildings require specialists in the field. This work constitutes an approximation to the problem: it proposes (and defines) a number of variables of analysis to include the rich variety of shades that some buildings have in relation to history, arts and culture related to their location, as a previous step towards developing a scientific methodology.Downloads
