Abstract

The introduction to the information and communication technologies to the city is reflected in the implementation of infrastructure and applications and uses of the Internet. The particular processes are linked to the public policies. Internet cafes considered as a manifestation of the culture and dynamic of land use in the city, have a presence and socio-economic impact. Analyze their location from a geographic perspective showed that the city of Guadalajara is lack of infrastructure and presents poles of concentration-dispersion for the supply of commercial connectivity to the internet in a dynamic growth that exceeded the planned controls.
