Abstract

Actually all over the world, governments and societies, looks increasingly desire, to achieve a full quality of life without compromising on the quality and stability of nature and its resources and, hence, the viability and stability of future generations. Therefore, given the failure and obsolescence of urban management and master plans to improve the quality of life of their inhabitants, governments of cities around the world are seeking new approaches to governance, management and operative democratic controls, which now grouped under the concept of sustainable development. This document analyzes and compares the global sustainable strategy and its impact on the field of industrialized social housing developed under the National Housing Programs from 2000-2006 and 2007-2012.
