Abstract

This article begins with the definition of green space, giving the current situation in which they are, and what is its role in the urban as well as the norms that define the development of the same, with the purpose of determining its incidence as an indicator of quality of urban life. It present a developing methodology, based mainly on a literature review on relevant issues concerning the public green space , in recent years both nationally and internationally, as well as the manifestation of conceptual theoretical framework that makes their study potential in a process hypothetical-deductive formal degree-applied pure abstraction and generalization of action, nature of quantitative data-oriented decision making. In conclusion, public green spaces are areas designed to society that lives in cities and for that reason should be given the importance that require, in its projection, conservation and development, as these spaces are places of recreation and relaxation that environmental purposes to benefit urban dwellers, including projecting a scenic delight for those who live them.
