Abstract

The article takes the concept of dialectical utopianism presented in the book by David Harvey Spaces of Hope to propose ethnographic research with the townspeople in social living spaces located on Via Light in Nova Iguaçu, as processes in spatial forms of sociability. The theme of the research focuses on the places of social interaction that produce the intensification of uneven geographical development in terms of standard of living and prospects in order to reflect on the contemporary cultures muted. It defends the idea that research in the areas of social interaction can produce the materialization of social utopianism of process, promoting political friendship, having as support the theoretical contributions of philosophy of Agamben and Foucault
