Abstract

Fifty years after Le Corbusier’s death, ETSA Valencia hosts the International Congress “LC2015: Le Corbusier, 50 years later”. This event confirms the suggestive quality that Le Corbusier continues to evoke among researchers. And while a growing criticism seems to be arising in
the academic world claiming a certain weariness of the architect, his presence in the current architectural context is still abundant and relevant, which makes us bring into question the reason of his critical longevity.
This article is presented as a congress report, halfway between the critical review and the personal selection of abstracts. The reader may choose the way to go over it, either linearly following the text and its commentaries, or, alternately, through the personal selection of quotes that we have chosen among the more than 130 contributions made at the congress.
