The graphic representation of the form of the underground elements in the city is not widely known. However, their relation and interaction allows us to explore a complementary urban reality which helps us to better understand the increasing complexity of contemporary cities. Taking the city of Barcelona as a study case, an objective analysis of the spaces underground helps explain some distinct aspects and characteristics that have developed in relation to the shape, intensity and grouping of underground elements in certain areas of the city.Downloads
