Abstract

Less than 10 years from the pre-established date for the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda, this research aims to approach and explain the progress and challenges that cities have from the analysis of urban planning instruments. environmental. Starting with the identification of indices, variables and indicators used in the city that determine and can be define in the current state in terms of compliance with objective 11 and 13 of the UN in the case study of the AMG based on POTmet (2016), PNOTDU (2021-2024), SEDATU (2021) and ODS (Agenda 2030).

This study can serve to formulate and rethink what are the main challenges to faced in cities, in this way generating new questions and opportunities for acting in the city in relation to the achievement of the objectives set by the UN.
