Abstract

The inclusion of children as active citizen in the design, planning and improvement of urban space with the aim of materializing their ideas in public policies would lead to the premise that if a city is well planned for children, it is well planned for everyone. The following is a description of the experience of children´s participation in the initiative called Laboratorio Universitario Infancia y Ciudad, an experience whose objective is to provide a solid foundation for children’s participation between the academic and public sectors.
