ORGANIZATION AND SUBMISSIONS
CTV is managed through the OJS platform. The authors must be registered to submit abstracts and final papers. Submissions will be reviewed through the platform, evaluated by blind peers. Only those shipments that strictly comply with the guidelines for authors will be taken into account.
CALL XIV CTV, Bogota - Cartagena de Indies 2022
Has been oppned the call for the next International Conference Virtual City and Territory, XIV CTV, to be held between September 26 and 30, 2022, in Bogota and Cartagena de Indies, Colombia.
SUBMISSION PROCESS 2022
Submission of abstracts (download template)
Received abstracts (in Spanish or English) will be subjected to a first evaluation. After its evaluation and, where appropriate, acceptance, final papers should be sent through the same platform, following the format defined in the template, on the dates indicated. These will be reviewed and evaluated for its final acceptance, which implies their inclusion in the CTV digital proceedings, upon payment of the registration of at least one of the authors.
Abstracts must include a maximum of 4 authors, of which, if the final paper is accepted, at least one of them must be registered in the Congress. The provided template will be used, without the data of the authors, in a properly anonymized Word file, following the instructions to ensure an anonymous evaluation. The text must have between 250 and 300 words and must contain: objectives, methodology, data used, development, results, and main conclusions. It must also be circumscribed to any of the thematic lines of the conference.
In OJS data of all authors must be indicated, following the next indications; Names, Surnames, Email, ORCID ID, URL (if available), Institution, Country, Biographical Summary (short). In addition, the contact author for correspondence must be indicated.
The proposal must be uploaded to OJS until March 31, 2022.
Submission of papers (download template)
If both, abstract and full paper are accepted, by the International Scientific Committee, the final revised version must be sent until June 20, 2022, for its inclusion at the Proceedings book.
The full version of the paper should have an extension between 3000 and 4000 words, including bibliographic references. The total extension may not exceed 10 pages, including images if any. The writing will be in sheets A4 size, with Arial type letter 10 pt., 1.15 spacing and top and bottom margins of 3 cm. and right and left margins of 2.5 cm. Only files in Microsoft Word format (*.doc) will be received, which comply with the indicated format and conditions.
Using the template provided, the file will be uploaded, in the record already opened for the submission of the abstracts, with the final paper, including the author’s data.
Posters (download template)
For the papers accepted for presentation at the Congress by means of a poster, it must be constructed in a portrait format DIN A0 (841 X 1189 mm), following the indications of the following template.
Each author should take care of the printing of the poster on quality paper (minimum 160 grams). The poster must be mounted on a hard surface (eg foamboard or cardboard). No poster-printing or mounting service will be available in the conference venue.
Review policy
In the process of the works received selection and revision of them, for its acceptance and publication, it has, in addition to the Edition Committee (Executive), an International Scientific Committee (both Permanent and in each edition) composed of experts of international scope and local, in each case.
Once the works have been received and carried out, a first verification by the Executive Committee, afterward are subject to review by external blind peers, in two stages; summary and full paper.
