Learning to design with nature: Projecting eco-social connections

In the context of urban and territorial fragmentation, it is necessary to propose new approaches, methods and tools, applicable to both design and pedagogy in landscape design.To deep delve into a contemporary education in architecture a critical and collective learning process is proposed. Current territorial challenges are faced from integrative, regenerative and systemic approaches to overcome knowledge division. The tools used reinforce the applied, technical and project-based nature of the course, bringing together academic training and professional practice. The pedagogical interest is in the ability of the course to combine theory and practice, to integrate scales (territorial, urban, detailed) and to foster analytical, argumentative and project skills from an ecosocial perspective.
