We present here a summary of the so-called neo-Socratic method, a method of philosophical inspiration that facilitates the discovery of knowledge in a process of dialogue where one discovers the core principles of an applied discipline working from a specific example. The neo-Socratic method has many applications and can often be a good alternative to lectures.
