Abstract

Architectural training must keep in mind the multiple facets of the profession that intertwine in real practice in a way that the division in isolated compartments in regulated education may make forgettable. The goal of the course Design and viability of Architectural Projects is to develop those Knowledge fields in which a significant part of an architect’s real practice is founded. The proposal is to integrate the course development in a servicelearning project. Through this tool it is possible to put forward scenarios that allow to integrate all the transversalities that he course implies while adding a series of social skills that complement the student’s formation. They allow to integrate the students in social service process that puts them in touch with the tools that are used to manage social transformation.
