The Learning and Servic Project crɘalab Pinto (ApS crɘalab) has involved 5th year students of the ETSAM Architecture Degree in a real architecture Project aimed at improving the recreational and social relationship spaces of the Calderón de la Barca Secondary School in Pinto (Madrid), with the participation of high school students, as “clients” and end users. The objective of the ApS crɘalab is twofold: on the one hand, it aims to encourage the involvement of future architects in the social condition of architecture and invite them to take on the responsibility of involving users in the process, and on the other hand, it attempts to demonstrate to architecture students the operational and instrumental function of the theory and history of architecture by combining the course content with a real project and work.
