Abstract

One of the aspects that stand out in the profesional practice of an architect is that there are multiple paths for career development. Among the, architectural competition are parto f the discipline’s history, dating back at least 2.000 years, and they are a field of action that promotes creativity and innovation. Some of them are focused on young talent, aiming top ave the way for new professionals. When receiving an invitation to engage with academia, it is valid to question what can be contributed and in which áreas the profesional experience can be thransmitted with grater expertise. In this contex, architectural competitions provide an opportunity to develop a line of work in architectural design studios.
