Dennis Oppenheim's Two Stage Transfer Drawing serves as a metaphor for a teaching experience shared between universities in Spain and the United States, in which the main line of work is the back-and-forth transfer between manual drawing methods and digital representation. After presenting the theoretical framework of the proposal, based on the reflections and work of Robin Evans, Marco Frascari, Enric Miralles, and others, the various formats, sequences, and approaches of the courses involved are described in depth. Finally, an assessment of the results is provided, attempting to evaluate the potential of drawing, in its many aspects, as a transformative pedagogical tool.
