Creativity is one of the essential aspects of the architectural discipline. Along with the technical and conceptual advances, it determines the evolution and improvement of architecture as functional and aesthetic need. In our essay we try to show the importance of teachers in the development of creative thinking in their students. We describe various strategies for the development of a creative activity at students in first degree course of architecture. These strategies have their realization in direct proposals classroom of the subject Graphic Ideation that have developed in the School of Architecture and Building UPCT during 2008-2015.
