The aim of this communication is to present the experience of innovation called "Ideas and construction contest of a ephemeral stage in the Solar Corona of Valencia", from the point of view of planning, development and results. It is a 10 weeks learning activity, carried out in the course 2015-16, in the subjects of Project 2, Project 3, Project 4 and Project 5, in the Workshop 2 belonging to the Architectural Design Department at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In the activity participated 476 students and 20 teachers. Surveys and evaluation results indicate a good result of the implementation of innovation. Thus, a higher percentage of attendance at classes, a higher degree of approved subjects and greater satisfaction of students and teachers involved was achieved.
