Abstract

The new digital technologies and methodologies are valuable tools for the architectural education, whose introduction and assimilation remains difficult. Overcoming the idea of digital as a tool at the service of traditional ways of teaching and moving forward the definition of new learning methodologies, and perhaps of new ways of thinking architecture, requires understanding the way in which students and teachers are related to these technologies, identifying their contributions but also the difficulties that they face. Through some practical teaching experiences on architectural design, exploring ways of incorporating digital media to education, an approach to the current degree of training to deal with the process of digitalization has been obtained from both groups, and particularly from the students, identifying also some of its challenges
