Abstract

This paper describes the process followed for the construction of two ephemeral architectural installations that represented the ETSAE in an urban art festival. Then, we extract and abstract some didactic tools that can be valuable for teaching and learning architectural design subject or other similar to this one, according to competences based curricula. nDeveloping these installations, students have not only be required to designed them, but also to have been an active part in their execution. The similarity of this dynamics with real architectural processes is an extra motivation for students; however it requires the teacher to be aware that it involves the use of tools in accordance with it. Such tools must enable teachers to manage easily the different phases of the process: design, assembly, maintenance and the diffusion of results.
