There is a timeline within the field of teaching that goes from the Bauhaus to the New Bauhaus, and that could be useful to map the teaching of Architecture in modern times. Through the different curricula we will try to extract the basic idea of each one of the successive Bauhaus, analyzing their differences and similarities. This article uses the comparative methodology, which attaches more importance to the visual and symbolic aspects of the different programs than to the particularity of the workshops. All these schools linked to the Bauhaus have already disappeared, or have been transformed. But they have been fundamental in defining contemporary architecture and design careers. All these programs focusing on workshops are still the essence of learning in our schools, where they change the content to the step that society does, but not the methodology.
