This paper is framed in the section entitled "Pedagogy", proposed by the scientific committee of JIDA'18, with the purpose of carrying out an evaluation about the process undertaken in a two-year Teaching Innovation Project that ended last academic year 2017-18. The main objective of this project was to relate the Graphic Expression subjects from Architecture’s first course with the Projects subjects of the second one, in a way that relation could emphasize the importance acquired by the drawing of the trees inside the architectural ideation processes. That is, how data collecting into a specific location and searching for clues that can help us to identify the history of any territory, can later determine the way to approach an architectural project.
