Abstract

The students entering the architecture degree must have prior knowledge regarding their graphic skills, which is not always guaranteed within the education received in high school. The work here presented performs analysis in the evaluation systems of previous skills around two fundamental qualities that will favor the good development of the graphic subjects for the student who has acquired them previously: Spatial vision and aesthetic judgment skills. Although these two concepts are abstract in nature, there is scientific literature that will allow us to analyze how they are acquired and above all, how they can be quantified and measured. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the results in both skill ranges and the different first-class graphic subjects: Architectural Drawing, Shape Analysis and Descriptive Geometry.
