This monographic issue of the magazine DC papers will study the narrow relations between the colonial domain and the archaeology, in search of the “roots” of the European culture, which had to be sumerians and not Acadians, Assyrians or Babylonians, a few Semitic cultures (as the Hebrew) rejected by Germanic archeologists, especially, in the twenties and thirties.
